I'm told by friends in Pacific that the Red Cedar Inn has a new owner who is repaving the lot, replacing the roof, upgrading the electricity and plumbing, etc. and will reopen the historic building as a used car lot.

Not the restaurant and bar reopening we all hoped for but at least the building will be left standing.
