The Route 66 Association of Missouri 19th Annual Motor Tour, "Cruisers! Come to Dinner on Route 66", will take place on September 5th, 6th, and 7th, 2008. We'll be touring from Collinsville, Illinois to Lebanon, Missouri with an overnight stop at Zeno's Steakhouse and Motel in Rolla, Missouri.

June 13-14, 2008 Route 66 Festival sponsored by the Edwardsville / Glen Carbon Chamber of Commerce. Car cruise, poker run, classic car show, food, beverages, bike ride, 10K run and live entertainment. Great for families. For more information see the Route 66 Festival web site.
June 14-21, 2008 14th Mother Road Ride/Rally, eight day, all brands invited motorcycle tour from Chicago to the Santa Monica Pier. Registration closes May 31st. For more information see the Mother Road Ride/Rally web site.

March, 2008 - Route 66 candy bars introduced by the Route 66 Fudge Shop in Cuba, Missouri.
January 18, 2008: Washita Motel in Canute, OK is for sale. 7 units motel with 2 bedroom living quarters attached. This motel is on original Route 66 in Western Oklahoma. An ongoing oil boom in the area will make for great living by renting rooms weekly. This motel would also be good to renovate for international Route 66 enthusiasts.
